The Pic says......
There are four main characters in the story. It is Shom, Purandhar, Deepak and Sunil(the Police Commissioner). It is them on which story revolves. The white king depicts Shom, the white queen is Purandhar, the black bishop is Deepak and the little white soldier that attacks white queen is Sunil. Well the explanation is henceforth. The white king is being targeted by black bishop. The white queen may seem helping the white king but it is actually targeting white king too (If you are familiar with the chess game, you can understand it from the picture. The queen is planning to attack the white king by moving across the white squares). The white king knowing this( It says " I knew it!") uses the white soldier to defeat white queen's strategy and the soldier saves the white king from the queen's betrayal. Now relate this theory with the actual characters in the story. You will get the idea on how the picture is related to the whole story. Now let's switch on to our new story "Break Up". From now on, each chapter will have it's own titles.
Break Up
CHAPTER 1: If it means to be.....
" Welcome to The Noon Talk with Ellen, brought to you by Airvoice and Co-sponsored by Expresso. We have a special guest here in Noon Talk. Welcoming the India's most prolific writer and girls' favorite handsome Aarush".
"Thank you, Ellen. I don't know if it is flattering or something, but, you know, you're my favorite too. Actually, show wise", said Aarush in response to Ellen's Welcoming.
Ellen laughed and said, " I see why Aarush is girl's favorite. So, let's get into the show. How do you feel after winning the prestigious Yuva Purashkar award at this young age?".
"Hey, it sounds even cooler if someone else said that", joked Aarush. Ellen laughed and so do the set people gathered in the show.
"Well, it is shocking at first. I was like ,'Really! me?'. Then, it continues to be shocking moment till now as I never expected any kind of awards for my simple writing. As I have no parenting team to support, I sure have to dedicate this to my fans and readers. If it wasn't for them, the award won't fit in to my palms" , quoted Aarush.
"With you have mentioned it, I guess my next question is henceforth. Why does your writings is always simply simple without any complicated words?", asked Ellen.
" I am an average student in the college, graduated with just a pass marks. Not really with huge figures". He then added after a pause for the people to finish laughing, " I just want to have readers from the kids to people of old having average knowledge just like me. The point is to deliver my creativity to the fullest. I never mind if it is simple or complicated".
"Many of the readers and your fans comment you as an emotionless person in personal life. Are you?", asked Ellen.
" My parents got divorced when I was a kid. I was brought up in an orphanage. With no care and not more friends and no real love, it is pretty much obvious that I have no emotions. May be it is wrong but, come on, who doesn't have flaws?" answered the author.
" Okay, a little dirt. How many girls have you been with?", asked Ellen curiously.
" It's pretty much hard to say. May be 10, uh, or 12. I don't know. I have lost count. But if you wish, you can be appended in the list too", flirted Aarush.
The whole set bursted out with laughter while Ellen is blushing.
"Hey, come on people. I am not joking", said Aarush with himself laughing.
"Alright, enough with the dirt. We'll just pass onto the next question. Could you tell us something about your next story?", asked Ellen.
"The story is titled as " The Class of Unity". It is about the whole bunch of passed out students of a class in a college who are, by the way, most known for their unity. The fact is that all the names of the characters are.............
"Alright honey. Time's up. Gear up for the flight", said Avantika's dad.
" Hi there!. I am Avantika. That was a TV show I'm watching. By the way, I'm 22, recently finished my college. I had been diagnosed with serious heart disease called Coronary Artery Disease or CAD, if you will. Now, I'm going Delhi for my treatment".
In the flight, to Avantika's shocking astonishment, her next seat in her journey to Delhi is Aarush. Adding shyness to her surprise, she kept standing next to Aarush's seat.
" Have I been sitting on your seat?", asked Aarush.
"No. Mine is next to yours", said Avantika.
"Then, have it".
Then, Avantika sat on her seat with her Dad's seat in another row. After a while, Aarush instigated the conversation. "Hi, I am Aarush, a writer from Chennai".
Avantika smiled a bit and introduced herself in reply and shook her hands.
"You seem a little uncomfortable from the beginning. Are you alright?"
"Yeah! I'm alright".
"I got it. You watched me in the interview, all those flirting things, don't you?" said Aarush.
"Oh! busted"
"Hey, don't worry. I am not going to do any of those things. It's just to add spices to the show", said Aarush.
"oh! really?"
"Nope. you're pretty much doomed in this three hours of travel", said Aarush.
After that, even with a quite a bit of avoidance and hesitation, Avantika couldn't stop him. At times she laughed, sometimes harder but most of the times she was offended by his flirting energy force.
With just 15 minutes to land, Aarush asked Avantika her phone number. Knowing that he will not back down, if she doesn't give him her number, she decided to give him a fake phone number.
" It's 9-9-6-2-2-6-8-4-5-8.", said Avantika
.
"Okay. Let me verify it. It is 9-9-6-2-2-6-8-5-4-8, right?", said Aarush.
"Yeah. That's right. Now, bye", said Avantika and turned to leave.
" You're faking it, don't you?", said Aarush.
Avantika turned back and stumbled with her words."No, I.. I am not....How...How did you find that?", asked Avantika.
"Actually when I was verifying your fake number, I said the last 3 digits wrong with intention. If it's your actual number, you would have corrected me for wrong but you didn't", explained Aarush.
"I have to go. My dad is waiting".
"Hey, we will meet, if it means to be".
Chapter 2 - I am an emotionless Author:
Avantika and her dad went to Fortis hospital in the city after they unpacked their things in a hotel room. At the hospital, few routine scans and tests were conducted. The reports and results have been filed after hours of waiting and the chief doctor called in Avantika's dad while she was put in the bed for rest. After his talk with the doc, Avantika's dad, came to her room and helped her to get up from her bed to leave the hospital.
"Dad! What did the doctor said?", asked Avantika. "Nothing serious hon. They prescribed some medicines and if with proper care, healthy food intake and proper exercise, he said, you will be alright in no time", answered Dad.
" Yeah, dad. I know".
Then they took the return flight to Chennai. A month went. Avantika started to donate money to an orphanage and went to a trust to do so and guess who bumped in. It's Aarush who has also came to donate. Once Avantika saw him, she went "Oops". She tried to sneak out without falling prey to his eyes. But sadly, she got caught into his eye's radar. Aarush shouted "Hey". She then, without responding to his 'hey', ran into the parking lot. She opened her purse to get her car keys which she couldn't find.
"Guess you're looking for this thing". Aarush showed her keys and handed over it to her. She thanked and turned to open the car door.
" I told you we'd meet". Now she has to respond. She turned and gave him a sighed smile.
"You used to come here?", said Aarush.
"No. Just started this month. You used to donate here too?", asked Avantika, in return.
"Yeah. Every month. I was bought up here. Kind of repaying the debt", said Aarush.
"Oh! that's good. Bye bye, then". she then again turned back towards the car door.
"Wait". She then again turned back. "This meeting has not just happened. It is really something like it means to be. Can I have your number, please?", asked Aarush gently.
"If it really means to be, you will guess my number", said Avantika strongly.
"That means-to-be thing is just a one time thing. We have to take that as a sign", said Aarush.
"Sign of what?"
"Sign of friendship, may be".
"Yeah I know. That's where it starts."
" Come on Avantika. You know I am a nice person. I promise not to flirt anymore".
"Promise on what, something that has already been extinct?"
"You see, I know, I am too much to handle but if you allow me, I can show how I am really nice with people. All I am asking is one chance. You can always block me if I bothered you so much", said Aarush
She, thinks for a while, sighed and gave her number.
"Alright. Let's verify it"
"No. I didn't fake this time. I promise". She smiled and drove off her car. He waved goodbye.
Aarush started to chat with her. Avantika, at the beginning, as every girls would do, replied most of the times 'Hmm'. She would often say him that she's busy with some stuffs which is sometimes true and sometimes the things that she would made up to avoid him. Aarush knew this and gave her some time and space to understand him. After a month of phone chats, Avantika begins to feel comfortable with him. She even started to initiate the chats by herself. A good friendship started and that changed her opinion on him. They even began to take their phone chats to phone calls. After that, it was a 'going out' phase. They went to beach, malls and theaters and had a lot of fun together. Avantika, now really liked the company of Aarush. He nailed the nicer version of himself successfully. She even invited him to her house and introduced him to his whole family. Her family also liked Aarush. Aarush felt something beautifully weird thing in himself. He hasn't felt like this on any of the girls he went out with. He knows that she's the one. He made up his mind to take this to next level.
"Hey, dad and mom. I am going out to see Aarush and will be back before 8pm", said Avantika while searching for her car key.
"You had to tell her", said Avantika's mom to Avantika's dad.
"Tell me what, dad?", said Avantika.
"It's about Aarush. You know, this cannot happen, right?. He seems to be a nice guy. It's gonna break him if it goes any further"
"I know, dad", interrupted Avantika, "I have control over this thing". She then took her keys and left when her dad nodded.
They met in a cliff where moonlight with its silvery glow, glittering up the space. They sat on a bench seeing each other's eyes for few minutes without any words.
"Never seen the moon, this beautiful!", exclaimed Aarush, breaking the silence.
"Since, when did the emotionless author started to have this kind of weird feeling?".
"Yeah, it's weird. It all happens in my imagination and in my stories. Never seen it in a real life", said Aarush still looking the moon.
"What kind of stories?", she said.
"Like really romantic".
"Oh". She sensed what is happening in Aarush's mind. Girls would always do that. Then the speechless silence resumed.
"What I had with you for this three months is new. I gotta say. I verified it so many times and believe me, this isn't fake at all. I think you are the one. You are my Chaitanya with whom I want to spend my rest of my life with". She was clueless on who the hell is Chaitanya.
" You didn't read any of my books, did you?", said Aarush.
"Not a one".
"Oh crap!. I took two hours to frame this line. I guess I have to do it in a old fashioned way. Avantika, will you marry me?", he proposed.
" I am afraid of this thing", she murmured."No, Aarush. This cannot happen. I cannot do this to you", said Avantika.
"Why?. I know you love me. I sensed it in your eyes".
"No, Aarush. Try to understand me", she stressed .
"But why?. We had a good time".
"My time is already over, Aarush. I am gonna die", she shouted.
"You're gonna what?", he said with a shock.
"Yeah, Aarush. I should have told you before. When I went to a hospital in Delhi, I peeped and heard what doctor really told my dad about my condition. I have a heart disease which is way out of control. I can have heart transplantation. But having the most rarest blood group, HH, also known as bombay blood group, my chance of having a heart donor is almost impossible".
Aarush went speechless. Even, with Avantika shaking his shoulders, and calling him 'Aarush' again and again, he couldn't react.
"When you will ...uh..this is going to..uh.." he stumbled with his words.
"May be a week".
Aarush rubbed his mind and walked here and there. She looked him with guilt. He then, calmed down a bit and said "Well, it's no issues. I am still an emotionless author. Having a relationship that will last for just a week is no big deal. I even had relationship that lasted just two hours".
" Two hours?"
"Yeah. You have seen my interview, right?".
"You went out with Ellen?", she asked.
" Yep, I did. That was just terrible two hours dinner date ever", said Aarush.
" Even the show is more than two hours", she said.
" I know. So that I am okay with short term relationships, do you love me?", asked Aarush.
"You know, my family is a big joint family. All people around me cared me so much that I started to hate the word 'care'. It always reminded me of the disease I had. I always wish death to come soon. But with you, it is different. I don't even feel like I am having that condition anymore. That's why I didn't tell you about my disease. That's why I ..uh ... love you so much", said Avantika.
"Then it is all set. From, now on, we're lovers".
"I guess". She smiled. " But just for a week".
"That's the ground rule. Now, go and have some sleep. We'll go out tomorrow."
"Where?".
"You'll see".
CHAPTER 3 - The Break Up
"Why are you so late?", Avantika said with her eyes symbolizing anger.
"Just went out to get your b'day present", Aarush said.
"What's that?", Avantika said with her eyes, now, really happy.
"Is today your b'day?".
"No".
"Then, no", said Aarush. Avantika gestured disgust.
"Angry, smiling and feeling disappointing faces; all in a single shot. I am gonna treasure this for", he said and after a sigh, he murmured with his eyes looking down, "only few days".
"What?"
"Forever, I mean. Alright, now tell me what's your fears?", said Aarush.
"Driving fast. Why?".
The next moment, Avantika was forced to hop into Aarush's bike and Aarush just flew like a wind. Avantika screamed like anything and shouted to stop it. All the pedestrians could have heard her screams but Aarush. A while after that rash driving, he stopped nearby to the bay view tower.
"What was that?. I wasn't supposed to have a ride that fast. I might have died out of stroke", shouted Avantika.
"Well, what's the difference?. You're gonna do that after a week, anyway", said Aarush. They laughed on his comment. Aarush then asked about his next fear. She replied that she has a fear of heights. They went up to the top of the bay view tower, the tallest building in the city. While seeing down, her heart beats so fast that she literally could hear it by herself. After getting used to it, she, with her full voice, yelled out loud, " I love you, Aarush". He, then yelled back as " But I wanna breakup with you, Avantika". she shrugged and nipped his shoulders with a little grin. They spent some time sitting in a stone bench and enjoyed the dusk with their heads tilting on each other.
"What would you do after I die?", she said.
"I would see some other girls", he replied and then laughed.
"Well, someone's going to get really haunted", she warned.
The next day, they did some exciting things which they never had done before. They even stole an old man's wallet and kept running. Knowing that she couldn't run because of her condition, Aarush lifted her up and ran. After a few seconds, the old man couldn't run. He then stopped and handed over the wallet to him and said, "They say if you run, diseases gonna run away from you". After that, they began to sprint again leaving the old man blinking. Like this, they did a bunch of stuffs and went crazy as hell. Four days went. Then, comes the Avantika's birthday.
"You came here with bare hands?. Where's my b'day gift?", asked Avantika.
"I'll tell you after your cake cutting", said Aarush.
"I couldn't resist".
She, then cut her cake. When she took a piece, she saw Aarush but fed her parents first. She didn't give Aarush the cake even after she fed her parents. He shrugged and asked what's going on there. She said, "No gifts. No cake".
"Alright, here's my b'day gift. Uncle and Aunty, you should hear this too", said Aarush. Avantika's parents payed their attention.
"I knew this from the trust where I used to donate. A man who has no wife is now having a brain tumor. He left his 3 year old child in the orphanage since he's gonna die today. I talked to him. What a co-incidence. I, apparently, came to know that he's having the same blood group as you have. Then, I asked your dad and took your medical records. Along with that man, I went to a hospital. The doctors, on taking some tests, said that it is possible to make the successful heart transplant. That's why I came late that day", said Aarush. Avantika jumped in joy and hugged him and her parents, merrily.
"We will get married and we'll adopt the man's child because, you know, there shouldn't be any more emotionless author", said Avantika. Aarush nodded and all of them rushed to the hospital with excitement. The best doctors conducted the surgery and it went well. Finally, Avantika regained her life back. She opened her eyes after her anesthesia loose it's effect.
"Does it went well?", Avnatika said to her dad. Her parents hugged their daughter and cried. "Yeah honey, you are alright. You came back to life", said her father. She smiled back and asked his dad where was Aarush. He said that he's having some work with one of the book publications and asked her to come home. She refused and said that she's not going to move a bit out of here until Aarush came there. She asked them to give a phone call to Aarush. Not knowing what to do, their parents gave her the letter that Aarush gave them.
"Hi, Avantika. This is from the emotionless author. What I said about the man from the trust is not true, at least, some of the things aren't. The fact that the man has a brain tumor and left his 3 year old son in the orphanage is true but he's not having your blood group. Actually, the reason why I am late on the first day of our date is because I came to this hospital to check whether I am capable to donate my heart to you. Yes, I too have your rarest blood group called bombay blood group. I knew that I am going to do this, the moment when you told me about your blood group. I think yours is the best place where my heart means to be. During my whole life, I never felt like I am actually having a heart until I started to have feelings for you. That's when the emotionless author started to have emotions. You rediscovered my heart and that's why it belongs to you. Oh my God, I couldn't resist my tears. This is the first time that's happening to me. All I could leave you is that child. As you said, you can adopt him and you should. I too don't want any more emotionless authors. For that, you should get married and have a life of your own. Someone's going to get really haunted if she doesn't get married. I guess there's no one in this world who asked his girl friend to marry someone even though they both love each other so much. I guess our story is rarest like our blood group. Irony yet funny, isn't it?. You asked me a birthday gift, didn't you?. Well, here's it. Me breaking up with you is my birth day gift. Let's BREAK UP".
Its just awesome🔥 you are really blessed with writing the stories. I just envy you😉 of your talent
